A couple of weeks ago, I sat down and decided that I was going to paint my Gun Carriage – the Khador battle engine. I was fully aware of its size, but I was somewhat unprepared for all the little details that Privateer Press had managed to fit into that large size, so it took me quite a bit longer than I expected to finish.
Well, here are the pictures:
Well, that was a lot of paint. There are still a few touchups that I want to do, but I’m calling this one done and walking away for a bit. In all told, this took me a dozen segments of Unsolved Mysteries, four episodes of Stargate: Atlantis, and the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Now that it’s done, I plan on running it next time I throw down a game to see how it plays when it’s painted.
Those hi-res photos show more detail than my actual eyes can see. In real life. So it’s commendable that even in these photos, your paint job looks spiffy.
I still love the horsies. The armor is epic.
Thanks for sharing! :)
