For Christmas last year, I did a lot of stuff with my 3D printer. For me, it’s a compromise between “hand made” and “doesn’t look stupid” because, well, I’m neither artistic nor very good at hand made. I never really got the chance to talk about them, as I ended up being very busy this spring, so I wanted to do a little show and tell since I had a bit of time to write. Here’s a brief selection of what I made:

WordPress is up!
This year, my New Year’s Resolution was to get WordPress up and running, and replacing PivotX as my primary blogging software. Tada! I did this yesterday, and now I can wash my hands of doing WordPress installations for now. If you want to know why “WordPress installations” is plural, read on…
Back to Blogging
I’ve taken a hiatus on my blog for the past few weeks, so that I could get moved in to the new house, and get settled in (unpacking some things). To be honest, I haven’t really made the time as much as I could have, but I’m ready to get back into it.
House Update #17
Last Tuesday Jessa and I had the final walkthrough on our house where we got to go through everything and check to make sure it was up to spec. I took pictures but couldn’t travel back in time to post them on Monday, so you get your house pictures today!
House Update #15
So I missed the house update yesterday, but that doesn’t mean that pictures weren’t taken, it just means that I was asleep and didn’t post them. Today, however, is another day, and pictures demand to be posted!
House Update #14
This week, we got some more pictures of the evolution of the inside, primarily in the kitchen (as that will probably be the most exciting). Pictures after the jump.
House Update #13
Jessa and I heard this week that our cabinets were complete, and the texture and painting was complete! We were also able to go inside and look around, so we took the chance to measure our windows and start preparing to get blinds in. As usual, pictures after the jump.
House Update #12
This week, I bring you better resolution pictures of the outside, and a picture of the inside. Of particular excitement for Jessa and I was the fact that the outside, with the exception of the yard, is, for the most part, done. I’ll try to bring you inside for future pictures, since the outside probably won’t be changing much!
House Update #11
This week we got a lot of neat stuff on the house. The exterior paint looks like it’s coming along, and they’ve started drywall on the interior. As usual, pictures after the jump.
House Update #10
This week was very exciting because our rock was completed! This makes the front of the house look nearly done sans the paint. Pictures below the jump.
