Making time to write
I have a new theory, and it is this: I have time to write, but I don’t make time to write. Let me elaborate:
New year, new… …blog entry?
This has certainly been a busy holiday, but I shouldn’t complain, it’s been good. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) for you all, I’m not making a new years resolution to blog more often, though I do plan to when I have some time. I did, however, want to put together an update of what I have been doing over the past few weeks…
Egil Iron Wolf Complete
One of the projects I’ve been working on for a while is a model for Egil Iron Wolf – one of the wolf lords mentioned in the Space Wolf codex. A while back I posted pictures of the model, but I have also recently finished painting him. Pictures after the jump.
Leeman Russ Datasheet
I have recently completed the final datasheet for Leeman Russ, complete with pictures of all the units.

Wulfen Guard
After a long time of painting on these guys, my Wulfen Guard are finally done. I spent approximately four hours per model on the three largest models, the first took the longest, but I think the second model (the one in the middle) looks the best. Pictures after the jump.
Bjorn the Fell-Handed
I’ve been getting a bit of painting done, but I needed to take a break from Leeman Russ’s guard. 5-6 hours per model was a bit much, so I decided to paint Bjorn the Fell-Handed instead.
The Ghost King
I recently finished The Ghost King by one of my favorite authors, R. A. Salvatore. I’ve been reading the books in this series (the saga of Drizzt Do’Urden) since I was in middle school, and this one was a nice continuation of the storyline. Major and minor spoilers after the jump.
The Adventures of the Andromeda Ascendant
If you’ve been keeping track of my current activities, you may have noticed that I recently finished watching Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda. After five seasons of this show, I’ve got a new appreciation for the various themes and plot points. Also, I have a whole new appreciation for just how fun this show is. Leeman Russ’s Guard
I’ve been thinking a lot about whether I wanted Leeman Russ to have a unit for him to join for running around the field. I took me a while, but I finally found some models that I liked, and got the first two painted. Pictures after the jump.
