As I mentioned last time, the head for Leeman Russ was going to take a bit more work and have more wolf-like qualities. Today, I finally got all the filing done to make it fit together. Pictures after the jump.

This is the final thing I came up with after trying a few different ideas. It’s the wulfen head out of the Space Wolves box, filed down to make it fit in the head cavity for Karchev. The main difficulty was filing down the head cavity to be big enough – it was a lot of filing! Here’s the pile of metal dust left over:

From here, I think the main thing will be to add some Space Wolves iconography (from my large pile of bits).
