I’ve completed my Imperial Knight Acheron!  Sure, it’s not painted yet, but I thought this was enough of an achievement to take a few pictures and get it posted:

This model, in particular, really tested my patience.  I bought the model in ebay, thinking that it was a Forge World model from someone that was trying to downsize their collection.  Unfortunately, it was a recast, and a poor one at that.  It’s been a while since I actually purchased it, and realized this only after getting some real Forge World models and finding out that the modeling standards are far higher that this piece would have demonstrated.

Overall, I’m a bit bummed that I even own the piece, but I did spend money on it.  I can’t rightly resell it, but I’m glad that I have bought some models from Forge World to make it known that I do support good craftsmanship.  In the future I’ll be a bit more suspicious of what I see in this area…
