A while back, my brother gave me an Eldar Dire Avenger to assemble and paint for his army.  It took me longer than it should have to get it back to him, but I did manage it in early January.  I, of course, took pictures, but for some reason I’m just now getting around to getting them here on my blog:

Overall, I’m pretty happy with how he came out, though I’m a little worried about the contrast with the armor and the helmet plume.  I really wanted to do a dark blue and burgundy scheme (as that’s what would make him mine), but I worry that he might be a little dark.  I highlighted the armor with metallic turquoise and did the helmet and weapon in bronze to help make those pop a bit more – hopefully Will enjoys it and it stands out on the table a bit!
