Since I had the day off today, I took the chance to do some painting. Specifically, I wanted to take a stab painting my shifting stones and sentry stone (since it looks fairly similar). Pictures after the jump.

I tried a few different things with this painting, but I’m not sure that they made a huge difference. I painted all of the stones with rainy day grey, then did a grey/black mix to add some texture. I looked reasonably well, but I’m not sure that the extra detail really worked. I also did wasabi green on the pieces with mixed in glow in the dark green, and I’m not sure that the glow in the dark green really made it through.
