I’ve been running a Minecraft server out of the house for a while now, and I’ve finally completed my first project. For me, Minecraft is time spent with friends, so I couldn’t build something completely huge or amazing, and this was a bit more work than I initially expected. Pictures follow.

My initial goal was to build a pyramid on a naturally occurring peninsula, but then I wanted to build something on top. After a bit of thinking, dreaming, and planning, I came up with the idea of a hemisphere with four spires in the four cardinal directions. In my minds eye, I think of the hanging city of Kallendrang or the Imperial Palace of Merilon. In either case, here are some shots of the final construction:
