I’ve been thinking a lot about whether I wanted Leeman Russ to have a unit for him to join for running around the field. I took me a while, but I finally found some models that I liked, and got the first two painted. Pictures after the jump.

The first two guys are the Wolves of Orboros Officer and Standard from Privateer Press’s Hordes line. I really liked the look of them when I started looking for Leeman Russ’s Wulfen guard, so I got them since they were out. Here’s the pictures:

These took quite a long time to paint – I wanted to take the time to make each one just like I wanted. However, I didn’t really expect each one to take two hours… …However, I really like how they turned out – I’m now really looking forward to doing the next three, even though they’ll probably take the same time commitment. Just for that, here’s another shot of each model independently:
