The Butcher’s Hound

Since I ended the fall with a winning record with Zerkova (5/1), I decided I would get the Conquest colossal. However, one thing that always bothered me about the Conquest was that it didn’t have any axes. I actually prepared this about a year ago when the Conquest was announced, and picked up a couple of extreme axes from the Privateer Press store. The result is the model below (not at all painted, but ready at least to show):

There are still some things that I want to add (aside from paint). I want to get a second head, and find a way to fit two heads onto the frame (to continue with the Argus theme). I also need to get a second set of hands – in the images above, the axes are just resting in the hands because I didn’t want to glue them (modding rules and all that). I’ve already magnetized the wrists, so a second set of hands would allow me to swap them as I wanted.

There has also been a lot of discussion lately on the Khador forums for what we want to see in 2014, specifically with the Vengeance release and whatever comes out in 2014 for the book after. This is one idea I’d like to submit – a character Colossal. As a general note, I want to see more warjacks, and want to see something that incentivizes taking more warjacks. Khador is blessed with an abundance of ‘jack marshals, but I very rarely see them used as our warjacks tend to want multiple focus, and perform poorly under marshals. I’m excited by the upcoming Journeyman warcaster, but it would be interesting to see more in the way of warjack support options that help warcasters run multiple warjacks as well.
